I came to Beijing at the age of 18 for study. (So please don’t ask which city I come from, it’s probably the most difficult question to answer.) I studied at College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, Peking University for nine years for undergraduate and graduate study under the supervision of Prof. Jian Pei. My dissertation research focused on the influence of conjugated polymer aggregation structure on their optoelectronic properties. After receiving my Ph.D. degree in organic chemistry in July 2017, I joined Prof. Zhenan Bao’s group for postdoctoral research at Stanford University. At Stanford, I worked on the integration technique for intrinsically stretchable electronics and their application in wearable sensors. In September 2021, I came back to Peking University and was appointed as a tenure-track assistant professor of School of Integrated Circuits in Peking University. Research in my group focuses on stretchable bio-electronic interfaces by developing skin-like electronic materials and their customized integration techniques.
